Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 21mm, 8.68 g 6). Pegasus, with curved wing, walking to left. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard; behind neck, chicken pecking to right. BCD Corinth -. Calciati 294. A bold and attractive piece; nicely toned. Minor die rust on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
