D N THEODO - SIVS P F AVG Helmeted, diademed and cuirassed bust of Theodosius facing, holding spear over his right shoulder and with shield, ornamented with a horseman spearing a fallen foe, over his left. Rev. SALVS REI - PVBLICAE A / CONOB Two nimbate emperors, the larger on the left Theodosius II and the smaller on the right Valentinian III, both wearing consular robes and holding a mappa in their right hands and a cross in their left. RIC 237. Bright and well struck. Very minor die break on the obverse edge, otherwise, good extremely fine.
