Donative silver and gold coins of the Hijri 3rd and 4th centuries are typically distinguished by broad blank outer margins. Al-'Ush published a similar donative dinar of Ziyadat Allah III, dated AH296 (#161), which is also illustrated by Bernardi under #147.
