ZIRID OF QAYRAWAN: al-Mu'izz b. Badis, 1016-1062, AV dinar (4.03g), 'Izz al-Islam al-Qayrawan, AH444, A-458, H-7, lovely strike, far above average, well-centered, EF. Jaysh ruled for just a few months in AH282-283, and struck gold coins only as Misr; always dated 283. All specimens bear a pellet at the bottom of the obverse and the letter J at the bottom of the reverse.
