ABBASID OF YEMEN: al-Mutawakkil, 847-861, AR dirham (3.34g), AH"200", A-1052N, mint/date formula bi-makiya sana wa mi'tayn, with the mint name either makka with an extra tooth or madina missing one tooth, probably a contemporary imitation, perhaps intended as a souvenir for the Hajj, VF, RRR. This is the second known example, superior to the first example, which sold in Stephen Album Auction 24, Lot 328, for $950.
