GREAT MONGOLS: Töregene, 1241-1246, AR dirham (2.93g), Nakhjawan, AH642, A-1976, W-1950, mounted archer type, an exceptional example with clear mint & date, nicely toned, VF, R. The engravers at Nakhjawan were especially capable, with the result that Nakhjawan produced the most elegant archer dirhams for Töregene.
