A double proof or specimen set sold at Spink Auction 11023, Lot 1026, was enclosed in an original fitted case inscribed "The Mint, Birmingham, Ltd.", i.e., the Heaton Mint. It may be assumed that the proofs were struck there, even though all the riyals and fractional riyals state duriba fi al-mukarrama makka, i.e., "struck at the Holy City of Mecca."
