ANCIENT COINS, ANCIENT BRITISH, Celtic Silver and Base Metal, Dobunni, Silver Unit, 0.92g, c.50-20 BC, devolved head right, ornaments around, rev horse right, 'flower' pattern above, V shape behind, cross below (ABC 2036; VA 1135; S 377); Copper Unit, 0.96g, similar, rev larger V behind horse; Copper Unit, devolved head with X between pellets in circles, rev annular horse left, pellets above and below (ABC 2027; VA 1078; S 377); another, similar, obverse struck further to the right, ring of pellets around; another, similar, reverse struck lower, large clear V below horse; Boduoc (c.25-5 BC?), Silver Unit, 0.76g, head left, rev horse right, wheel below (ABC 2042/5; cf VA 1057-1; S 389). Last fair, scarce, the penultimate good very fine or better, others nearly very fine, second with some patination. (6)
