ANCIENT COINS, CONTINENTAL CELTIC COINS, Danubian District, Eastern Celts (2nd to 1st Century BC), Silver Tetradrachms (2), in imitation of Thasos, Celticized head of young Dionysos facing right, wearing an ivy-wreath, rev Herakles, with club and lion's skin (Lanz 963 and 993); Indo-Scythia, Sogdiana (c.130-80 BC), Silver Tetradrachm, in the style of Euthydemos of Baktria (Mitchiner 495). Generally very fine, first with a scrape on the obverse. (3)
