ANCIENT COINS, GREEK COINS, Judaea, Herodian Dynasty, Agrippa I (AD 37-44), Æ 27mm, mint of Caesarea Maritima, Year 7 (= AD 42/43), laureate head of Claudius facing right, a countermark on cheek of a male head right, rev distyle temple, two figures of Agrippa and Claudius stand within, facing each other, two other figures also present, one of which is kneeling, date LZ in pediment, 15.98g, 12h (AJC II, 248, 8a; RPC 4983; Hendin 1245). Dark brown patina, fine and very rare.
