ANCIENT COINS, THE DAVID SELLWOOD COLLECTION OF PARTHIAN COINS (PART FOUR), Artabanus III (126-122 BC), Silver Tetradrachm, minted at Seleucia on the Tigris, diademed and medium bearded bust right, wearing spiral torque, reel-and-pellet border, rev Demeter enthroned left, holding wreath carrying Nike and cornucopia in right and left hands respectively, monogram in field left, ΘE before Demeter, two line inscription ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΡΣΑΚΟY, year HΠP = 188 SEM (125/4 BC) in exergue, 16.04g, 1h (S 21.3 (Artabanus I)). About very fine, well centred designs on both sides, rare.
