ANCIENT COINS, THE DAVID SELLWOOD COLLECTION OF PARTHIAN COINS (PART FOUR), Artabanus III (126-122 BC), Silver Drachm, struck at Ecbatana from an artistically executed obverse die, diademed and bearded bust left, wearing multi-turn torque, monogram behind head, rev archer seated right on omphalos, five line inscription ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟY ΑΡΣΑΚΟY ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΟY ΦΙΛΕΛΛHNOΣ, traces of monogram EKP in exergue, 4.11g, 12h (S 22.1 (Artabanus I)). About very fine, flan crack between 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock, extremely rare.
