BRITISH COINS, Charles I, Silver Shilling, Tower Mint, group D, type 3.1, fourth crowned and armoured bust left, variety with more pronounced nose and forehead, value behind, initial mark portcullis (1633-1634) both sides, rev oval quartered shield of arms, 5.71g (Brooker 484/482; Sharp D5/1; N 2223; S 2789). Toned, almost very fine and a very rare sub-variety.
