BRITISH COINS, Charles I, Silver Sixpence, 1625, group A, lightweight issue, first broader crowned bust in Coronation robe left, initial mark lis (1625) both sides, colon stops in legend, rev long cross fourchée, quartered shield of arms, no reverse stops, 2.52g (Brooker -; N 2235; S 2806, note). Weak at centre both sides, otherwise bold fine and extremely rare, issued for only seven weeks.
