BRITISH COINS, Charles I, Silver Sixpence, 1626, group B, crowned second bust left, initial mark cross calvary (1625-1626) both sides, rev long cross fourchée over square topped quartered shield of arms, 2.97g (Brooker 577-78; N 2236; S 2807). Ragged flan, weakly struck on king's head, otherwise sharp detail, good very fine with attractive tone, a good example of this issue.
