COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, BRITISH HISTORICAL MEDALS, Love and Friendship, Engraved Georgian Silver Medal, c.1760s, clasped hands joined with padlock, a saw through a flaming heart above, olive leaf border, rev hen with chicks, palm border, 29.38g, 49mm; Smoothed and Engraved Copper Halfpennies (2), armorial goat's head left, rev "Sarah Brock", and initials IP and SC to either side. First very fine, a delightful piece, the others fine. (3)
The goat's head is the crest of some branches of the Brook(e) family and, no doubt, also the Brooks.
