Two signed original oval medallions are recorded, in the Curtius Museum, Liège (Frédéric Pény, Jean Varin de Liège, 1947, Pl XXII) and The Detroit Institute of Arts (E. de Callatay, Two Gilded Bronze Plaques by Jean Warin II, Bulletin, vol 49, no.2, 1970, p.32); a similarly attributed plaster bas-relief is in the Wellcome Library, London (ICV No 17690).
