Pinhole at base, very fine, rare.
Believed produced as a memorial in 1928, after Amundsen's plane went missing in the Arctic when searching for the crew of the airship Italia. Another example, named to Per Berge, was sold in Baldwin's Auction 74, 9 May 2012 (lot 2129).
