Trooper Arnold Metcalfe landed in the French Theatre of War on 19 May 1915. Sold with copy M.i.C.
Trooper John Spence arrived in France on 8 October 1915, his Medal Index Card showing Service as 2037 Trooper Royal Horse Guards and Trooper 5857 Guards Machine Gun Regiment. Trooper Spence was discharged 31 March 1920.
