G Czechoslovakia, Republic, Medallic coinage, 5 dukats, 1934, St. Elizabeth kneeling in prayer, rev. mining scene (KM.XM20), certified and graded by NGC as Mint State 65
Struck to commemorate the re-opening of the Kremnica mines, this coin depicts St. Elizabeth who is the patron saint of the Czech people. Only 70 were struck and the rarity combined with the beautiful design makes it especially popular. Only four other examples graded MS65 or higher by NGC or PCGS.
