ISLANDS off THRACE, Thasos. Circa 390-335 BC. AR Drachm (15mm, 3.82 g, 9h). Wreathed and bearded head of Dionysos left / Herakles, wearing lion skin, kneeling right, drawing bow; salamander to inner right; all in linear square within shallow square incuse. Le Rider, Thasiennes 15; HGC 6, 343; West 7c (same obv. die). Near VF, light layer of find patina, granular exposed surfaces, softly struck.
