d. Syndicat Nationale Médecins Omnipracticiens, Tunisie: XVI Congrès, nd (pre-1968), xf, Graveur: Taeger, Ae, 88mm, 238.96g. The last medal in this lot dates from the first years of Tunisian Republic. One should note, however, that the lower elements on the emblem ("shield") of the Republic were reversed in the late 1960's.
Apparently, very little research has been done concerning medals issued during the French chapter of Tunisian history. The commentaries below are few and far between – mainly based on educated guesses.
