Romanov Cross for the Monastic and Secular Clergy in Occasion of the 300 years of Reign of the Dynasty Romanov 1913. 67.4 x 41.7 mm, fabrication of an unidentified firm, silver and enamels, on the reverse master's mark "BP" and kokoshnik silver mark for 84 zolotniki from 1908 until 1917/26, with ribbon piece of the order of Saint Vladimir. Крест Романовых для священнослужителей монашествующего и белого духовенства. ??67.4 x 41.7 мм, изготовлен неизвестной фирмой, серебро и эмаль, на оборотной стороне клеймо «BP» и клеймо серебро кокошник 84 золотника между 1908 и 1917/26 г, на части ленты ордена Святого Владимира. The cross was instituted on January 24, 1913, in occasion of the tercentenary jubilee of the reign of the Romanov dynasty. The festivities started in March 1913 with a solemn thanksgiving service which took place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Kasan in Sankt Petersburg, officiated by Vladimir (Vasily Nikiforovich Bogoyavlensky – 1848–1918), Metropolitan of Sankt Petersburg and Ladoga. All over the Russian Empire similar ceremonies were held in cathedrals, churches and monasteries. The cross was conferred upon members of the clergy who had officiated at or assisted to such services.
