Lot 1847/1848. 2 Dokumente zu Karl Jakob (Iwanowitsch) von Otto (1786-1866). Quittung über 20 Rubel für einen Orden & Bestätigung des russischen Aussenministeriums, dass von Otto 20 Rubel für die Fertigung eines Ordens, den er nicht mehr retour gegeben hat, bezahlt hat/receipt of 20 rubels for a decoration and confirmation of the Russian Foreign Ministry that von Otto paid 20 rubels for the production of this decorations and that he has not returned it. II / extremely fine.(2)

Karl Jakob (Iwanowitsch) von Otto (1786-1866) war in Moskau eine bedeutende Persönlichkeit mit weitreichenden Verbindungen zwischen dem Zarenhaus und dem Ausland. Russischer Beamter und zeitweise auch Sekretär Maria Pawlownas von Sachsen-Weimar, 1817 russischer Kollegienassessor, bis 1823 Hofrat, bis 1830 Kollegienrat und schlussendlich russischer Staatsrat, machte er eine bemerkenswerte Karriere/Karl Jokob (Ivanovich) von Otto was an important figure in Moscow with extensive connections to the Czar familiy and abroad. He made a remarkable career and was finally Russian State Coucil.
