BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, ENGLAND, Robert Campin, (1768-1839), haberdasher, Goat Lane, Norwich, Copper and White Metal Halfpenny (4), 1793, obv stocking and glove, crossed knife and fork below, R X CAMPIN X HABERDASHER around, GOAT X LANE X NORWICH in exergue, straight stocking, fork pointing to left, knife to right, rev female seated, right arm on globe, left on anchor, HALFPENNY above, edge BIRMINGHAM LIVERPOOL OR LONDON (2) (Atkins p.152, 21a; D&H Norfolk 20a); edge plain, not in collar (Atkins p.152, 21b; D&H Norfolk 20b); 1794, obv bent stocking, fork pointing to right, knife to left, edge PAYABLE AT THE SHOP OF DUNHAM & YALLOP GOLD-SMITHS (D&H unlisted, noted as D&H Norfolk 21g). D&H 20a in copper and white metal about very fine, D&H 20b extremely fine and very rare, D&H 21g likely wiped and with parallel rows of indentations on the obverse, otherwise very fine and exceptionally rare, the only example traced.
