BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, ENGLAND, Dunham & Yallop, Copper Halfpenny, 1793, obv shield of arms of the city of Norwich on sword and mace, between crossed palm branches, SUCCESS TO THE CITY OF NORWICH around, emblazoned shield, tie at branches, hilt of the sword points to space between O and F of OF, top of mace points to first limb of H of THE, two small ornaments after NORWICH, rev eagle with wings extended, NORWICH HALFPENNY around, edge plain, not in collar (D&H unlisted, Cokayne as D&H 32a). Nearly extremely fine and exceedingly rare, the only specimen traced.
