BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, ENGLAND, Uncertain Issuer, Copper and White Metal Penny, obv kneeling man in chains, AM I NOT A MAN AND A BROTHER around, no stop after MAN, rev WHATSOEVER YE WOULD THAT MEN SHOULD DO TO YOU, DO YE EVEN SO TO THEM, stop close to M of THEM, edge plain (D&H Middlesex 235). First fine, traces of silvering, second very fine, both rare. (2)

A good many of the imitation tokens and mules listed can likely be traced to the shop of William Lutwyche. However, at this point it is purely conjecture so, for the time being, they remain listed as having uncertain origin.
