MINES . HALFPENNY 1790 around within a border of acorns, edge PAYABLE X IN X LONDON X OR X ANGLESEY. X (Atkins p.281, 205; D&H Anglesey 385). A little detritus and minor areas of discolouration, otherwise good extremely fine and bronzed, exceedingly rare.

Williams effectively gained control of the entire operations of the Parys Mountain and, later, the Cornish Metal Company, giving him a near monopoly over the development and production of copper and the copper trade in Great Britain.
