BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, IRELAND, Hibernian Mine Company, Copper Halfpenny, 1793, obv seated crowned figure of Hibernia right, PAYABLE AT DUBLIN OR BALLYMURTAGH, harp with five strings, point of still to centre of E of PAYABLE, B of PAYABLE recut to left and touches A, B of DUBLIN recut to left, B of BALLYMURTAGH recut to right, rev cypher H M Co without flourishes, CAMAC . KYAN . AND . CAMAC with ONE . HALFPENNY in arc below cypher, MA of first CAMAC touch, KY of KYAN touch, MA of second CAMAC touch, edge plain (D&H Dublin 241). A little rubbed, some verdigris on the reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine for issue, rare.
