BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, IRELAND, Hibernian Mine Company, Copper Halfpenny, 1793, obv seated crowned figure of Hibernia right, PAYABLE AT DUBLIN OR BALLYMURTAGH, harp with six strings, string six incomplete and intersects with string five, point of still to lower right serif of E of PAYABLE, rev cypher H M Co without flourishes, CAMAC . KYAN . AND . CAMAC with ONE . HALFPENNY in arc below cypher, first C of first CAMAC widely recut to left, MA of first CAMAC touch, AN of KYAN touch, AMA of second CAMAC touch, horizontal stroke of 7 recut below, edge plain (Conder p.190, 33; Atkins p.338, 85; D&H Dublin 243). Better than very fine.
