Great Britain (England) 1658/7 (Ag) Crown (5 Shillings) Oliver Cromwell (S-3226; KM:D207). Very popular as the first milled crown. Designed by England's finest engraver at that time, Thomas Simon - an act which lost him all favor with Charles II when the Royal Restoration occurred in 1660. This coin has a nice darker patina with very light blue tone on the reverse along with the known flan flaw across base of the breast of Cromwell.
