Great Britain 1831 (Au) PROOF Sovereign (S-3829B, WR:261, KM: 717) Plain Edge, W.W. incuse on the truncation: this is a very sharp example of this proof sovereign taken from the coronation set of the same year. This coin has bold features and highly reflective fields with a rich frosty cameo appearance. This is a very nice specimen of this RARE and desirable date in the GB sovereign series, rated R3 by Rasmussen. Note: This is an earlier graded coin and the ultra cameo designation was not added at that time to this piece.
