PHOENICIA. Arados. Circa 138-43 B.C. AR tetradrachm. 14.46 gm. 27 mm. Dated CY 183 (77/76 B.C.). Turreted, veiled, and draped bust of Tyche right / Nike standing left, holding wreath and palm frond; ΓΠΡ (date) over Aramaic letter D over MΣ to left; all within wreath. HGC 10, 72. Good Very Fine; handsome turreted head; lightly toned; light porosity and light scratches on reverse to left.
