His facing bust, pellets at either side of neck / Rose after DEVM; pothook V in DEVM and MEVM. S. 2099. B&W XIX/XX mule. N. 1631. Very Fine; full flan; lightly toned. A notable variety, seldom seen. Delme-Radcliffe had only one example of this obverse type (different reverse) and the extensive Brady collection had no examples.
