2 COINS. Elizabeth I. 1558-1603. A pair of Second Issue shillings. Cross-crosslet. (5.16 gm. 30mm). Martlet i.m. (5.75 gm. 33 mm). (1560-1561). Her crowned bust left; ELIZAB DG ANG FR ET HIB REGINA around / Long cross fourchée over square-topped shield; POSVI DEV AD IVTORE M MEV around. S. 2555. N. 1985. Fine; portraits worn, tooling at head of the cross-crosslet piece; otherwise decent flans, legends and reverse better. These two marks are the only initial marks for the second issue.
