Auf dem Fund von Morenhoven bei Bonn (dazu: Bonner Jahrbücher 136, 1932, S. 323). Der einzigartige Revers kommt sonst nur auf einem weiteren Solidus des Nepotianus vor, der sich im Juni 350 in Rom für einige Wochen zum Kaiser erhob. Das Stück befindet sich im Münzkabinett der Vatikanischen Museen und trägt die Legende DN IVL NEPOTIANVS P F AVG. Auffallend ist der strenge Parallelismus zur Titulatur unseres Stückes. Damit betonte Nepotianus seine Verwandtschaft zum rechtmäßigen Kaiser Constantius II. From the hoard of Morenhoven near Bonn (cfr. Bonner Jahrbücher 136, 1932, p. 323). The reverse type is only known from a solidus of the usurper Nepotianus, who seized the power in Rome for a couple of weeks only in June 350. The piece in question is in the collection of the Vatican museum and bears the legend DN IVL NEPOTIANVS P F AVG in accordance with the imperial title on the present peace in the name of Constantius II. Thus Nepotianus wished to underline his alledged family relationship with the legitimate ruler.
