Choice full shield and cross, nearly full crown, full mintmark RN and clear date, minimal surface corrosion with nicely contrasting toning but some edge loss, overall a very attractive specimen of the rare first type of Colombia. Pedigreed to the Charles Eidel collection, reportedly purchased from Kane Fisher without tag or certificate. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida ($700-1000)
