Broad flan with well-detailed full cross and shield, the latter with slight doubling where second assayer should appear at right, full and bold countermark, large edge-split, weak but certain date, nicely toned, no corrosion. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador ($350-500)
