Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (16)52E transitional Type IV, ex-Mastalir collection. S-P37; KM-A20.4; CT-432. 17.91 grams. Thin from corrosion but affected by flat strike and doubling, still with clear date and king's ordinal on shield side, toned on fields. Pedigreed to the Roberto Mastalir collection, #IV.1-A.ad1(4)1 in his book (page 89). Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador ($175-250)
