Large Alabaster Jar. Near East, II Millennium BC. Large lathe-turned and polished cream colored alabaster cylindrical jar with wide mouth, lip, body slightly flaring to flat foot. 4.5" dia, 3.5" tall. Chipping on lip, interior flaws in stone, otherwise intact. Massive and Impressive.
