Large Gilt Bronze Fibula with Silver Inlay. Roman, IV-V Century AD. Massive bronze Crossbow-brooch with volutes on foot, inlay in silver including face on end of foot, and remains of gilding. One volute lost, most of gilding worn off, otherwise intact with encrustation.
