Himera. Circa 440-425 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26mm, 16.51 g 7). [IME]PAI[ON] (retrograde) Charioteer driving quadriga right, holding kentron and reins; above, Nike flying left, holding wreath. Rev. The nymph Himera standing left, holding patera in her right hand over an altar, and raising her left; to right, satyr bathing in fountain fed by lion's head spout. BMC 34. SNG ANS 167. Weber 1351. Reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about very fine.
