Leontini. Circa 476-466 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25mm, 17.02 g 4). Bearded charioteer driving quadriga galloping to right; above, Nike flying right to crown the horses. Rev. ΛEONTINON Lion's head with open jaws to right; around, four grains of barley. Boehringer, Münzgeschichte 4 and SNG ANS 201 (same dies). Graffito E on the obverse, otherwise, about very fine.
