Suessiones. Circa 50-30 BC. Unit (Potin, 18mm, 4.63 g 9), 'Stirnlocken' type. Celticized head to right, with curly hair. Rev. Boar standing right; to left, circlet with torques; below, torques with pellets at the end and 5 other pellets within. Allen 444-447. Castelin 293-295. DT 530. Gäumann 151. LT 7905. A particularly well-preserved exmaple of this type. Extremely fine.
