Panormos. Circa 360-340 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25mm, 16.87 g 0). Charioteer, wearing long chiton and holding goad in his right hand and reins in his left, driving galloping quadriga to left; above, Nike flying right to crown the driver. Rev. Head of Kore-Persephone to left, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace around, four dolphins. Jenkins pl. 10, 38 (same dies). SNG ANS -. Beautifully toned. Lightly double struck on the obverse and the reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
