Syracuse. Second Democracy, 466-405 BC. Circa 450-439 BC. Litra (Silver, 9mm, 0.62 g). Head of Arethusa to left, her hair enclosed in sakkos. Rev. Wheel of four spokes, in fields, six pellets. Boehringer 637 (V323/R438). Rare and nicely toned. Minor die rust on obverse and reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
