Syracuse. Circa 405 BC. Hemilitron (Bronze, 16mm, 3.14 g 1), attributed to the engraver Phrygillos. Head of Arethusa to left, her hair bound in ampyx and sphendone; behind her head, dolphin. Rev. ΣΥΡA Four-spoked wheel, two dolphins in lower quarters. Calciati 19. SNG ANS 403 ff. Some roughness to dark green patina, otherwise, good very fine.
