Akragas. Phintias, Tyrant, 287-279 BC. Unit (Bronze, 22mm, 7.19 g 1). Wreathed head of Apollo to left; behind, monogram of NE. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΟΣ ΦΙΝΤΙΑ Boar running left. SNG ANS 1123. SNG Copenhagen 103. Pleasant brown patina. Minor red spots from removed deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
