RSMLQRT ('Cape of Melkart'). Circa 350-330 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23mm, 16.71 g 6). Quadriga walking left, driven by a charioteer holding the reins in his left hand and a goad in his right; above, Nike flying left to crown the horses; in exergue, Punic legend 'ršmlqrt'. Rev. Head of Tanit to right, her hair in a roll and wearing a plain necklace and a triple pendant earring; to left, dolphin; to right, two dolphins. Jenkins 16 (O8/R -). Traces of overstriking on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
