Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32mm, 16.51 g 11), Byzantion, 1st century BC. Diademed head of Alexander III to right, wearing horn of Ammon behind his ear. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY Athena seated left on throne, holding Nike in her outstretched right hand and spear in her left; below throne, ΒΥ and ornamental trident; to left, monogram. SNG Copenhagen 1139 var. (different monogram). Some deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
